Everyone always wants to see the latest photos. Here you go: that's how it looks here now. But I'm not leaning proudly on any technology smiling mildly into the camera. I'm just over in the kitchen fetching me a coffee.

This is an older photo from 2008, but I still like it. Today the hair is grey, the room and the monitors are bigger and the work is still overwhelming. Every now and then something still has to be soldered....

The first step is a non-binding test mastering of any title, so that it becomes clear what the mix has to offer and where there are still weaknesses. If such weaknesses are identified, advice is given on how they can be corrected.
There is no room for nitpicking and compromises in music, there are no hourly rates and hidden additional costs, but clear prices (see above), which are set together before work begins. Flat rates and volume discounts are possible. The customer receives audio copies that they can check in their own familiar situation and compare with other productions. A joint decision is then made: if the customer wants changes, these are made at no extra cost, regardless of how many are necessary. The final master is only created when everyone involved is grinning with satisfaction. This is the only way to do justice to the music and really bring it to the fore.
Frippery like MP3 / FLAC / M4A conversion, creating 16-bit files or putting everything together in the correct order as a WHF for checking doesn't cost anything extra either.
The basis for sound optimization is the quality of the supplied material. Mastering intervenes in the frequency response and compression in order to adjust the sound to the desired listening habits and references. The better the mix is, the better this works. If the ratios, individual sounds and frequency response are already roughly in tune and have not yet been pre-compressed, the mastering usually achieves the optimum as the final fine-tuning. If a mix has weaknesses, mastering only partially conceals them or even emphasizes them. Therefore, the first step towards efficient mastering is a competent assessment of the source material.
The saying "we'll get everything under control during mastering" is just as nonsensical as the eternal studio lie "we'll do the bass drum sound later in the mix". Every craftsman knows that the end result depends on the preliminary work. That's why Eroc always works in partnership and constructively with the "foremen" and gives advice on what may need to be changed in the mix to achieve the optimum result. If this is still not satisfactory, Eroc can also be booked for the final mix. The highest premise: Bands, artists and producers are the best "mastering team" together with Eroc.
These formats are available here: DDP files via DSL directly to the pressing plant, audio CDs for simple copies, ISRC code, UPC/EAN, CD text, video sound format and more. The results also meet the requirements for "Mastered for iTunes", and Eroc has the necessary Apple certificate.
Processing in CubeTec systems, where tools with the technically best digital resolution and sampling rate of 24 bit (32 FP) / 384 kHz are used, are the prerequisite for optimum results.
